Sannomiya

Visited the Summer Festival at Sannomiya. This is not the actual Sannomiya in Kobe but a neat town with spacious avenue, chic shops, and open booths as a flea market, like a European town. Parked cars are also European.

While being an alley cat, hit an open space with relaxing atmosphere. Under the rays of the sun at the height of summer, I do not need to worry about sweat or sunburn. It is good part of SL but also makes me feel that something is missing.

Art exhibition is now held in the town until August 31. Different from an independent gallery, it is nice to take a walk in a town watching arts on the road.

Also there are works by my favorite Mizuki. The resolution is so high that the details of the pattern of clothing are clearly expressed. The actual picture can be seen in her blog.

There is a canal in the town. At the SIM where yakitori shop ‘Kikyou’ were, there was a network of underground water way through which we can reach any place of the city or race on jet ski. This brings back memories...

Tepee

At Baba Meeting Area where Kazumi kindly has been preparing new sets one after another, the theme now is a tepee. Also the fire is a tepee style. Every Saturday at Baba is for dance party. Anyone will be welcome.

There is a very cozy space in the tent. It took more than 50 Prims for this set only.

As you may know, the last name of Kazumi is Kaminski (‘who likes nap’ in Japanese). As she says it is possible to take a nap here, it is a very comfortable bed. But recently Kazumi is not Kaminski (Nap lover) but rather Kaminsgi (Nap over).

Hokkaido

Visited Hokkaido (Northern island of Japan), expecting beautiful scenery not with a wall paper. My images of Hokkaido are, unending stretch of road under the blue dome of the sky, row of poplar trees, and farms with silo. But it might be difficult to make them in limited space of SIMs. The building at middle with no roof might be under construction, not reading lag.

Like a farm once I visited in RL. Recently it might be a fashion to shoot a memorial photo outdoor after wedding ceremony also in Japan. I would like to do so in this kind of place...

SIM Background

Relating to the fine texture last time, this is beautiful scenery. A townscape seen from top of a tower at an edge of a SIM, but this is a large wall paper. Please judge the size comparing with me standing at the middle of the below picture.

The townscape on the huge wall paper looks so real that I could jump in and continue walking far away. This may be a picture of a real town. But second look confirm that the same picture is repeated and the same buildings shown above can be noticed on the right side of the small mountain. The connection is made perfectly, but I would like to see the whole town.

Sunflower

Very hot recently! Removed morning glories at Temi's Teahouse and set sunflowers instead. This sunflower is made of flat texture different from the morning glory that was made three dimensionally. So it saves PRIMs but looks the same in all direction. The white corner seen left below is a part of the central square of Baba SIM where still cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Baba meeting area and the public pool are on the left top.

Since the texture of sunflower is 'blight' it creates strange scenery at night. This SS is from an angle that shows as much flowers as possible.

Coralreef kindly gave me a DL booth. I do not know how to use but it looks nice and I put it at my tea house.

The texture is very fine and nice. The middle is Infinum Mackie d4-Pro Mixer, and the turn tables are Technics SL 1210 M5G set longitudinally. The disc on it may be 'Madhouse' by Pindrop, that is available at the URL below.
