Final Race

After finishing eight mini-races for two months, the final race was held on August 25. There were six entrants. It was too bad that there were many persons who was not able to come due to RL work or who did not have time for practice. All six yachts started in a single race.

This is at the third buoy. Blues showed wonderful catch-up in the running stage, gaining wind by positioning directly behind Max, and got ahead. But he resulted in the left side and Max took the inner side. Max also make shadow over Blues in the following abeam stage. It might be different result if Blues took right side when he passed Max. But Max is really a veteran and got the grand prize in a breeze. Xpyoda and Eiki, Botan and Mediadream were also making close battle to the last moment.

The Trenza Yacht Club will be closed at the end of August. Thank you, the owner for letting us use this beautiful sea, and thank you Botan, for managing everything!

Wild West

Visited Western SIM group that Kazumi told me about. These SIMs are in the year of 1869, to provide a large role play as authentic as possible. It is required to wear suitable clothing. OOC (out of character) may be chased out. The owner gave me a tug of ‘Drifter’ and I tried to get in the most vacant one situated at the corner.

Passing through small table mountains, there was a colony of Indians. I tried to wear somewhat suitable clothing but it might depend on each tribe.

A small town next to the desert. Things may happen daily in the life of their citizens, such as boxing events, poker games, fishing, picnics, and even church. Also there could be gun fights. But there is a rule that says this is not a shooting game and you should not shoot without substantial reason.

There are more than twenty SIMs participated in the RPG. It may be difficult to join the activity from Japan since there is time difference, but there will be many attendants from Germany or Spain. I will try to talk with them when I get the drift as a drifter.

Rainy Twon

Again I visited a town that was introduced by Yana’s blog, a town with French air.

Whenever I come to a new town, I am tempted to climb up to a high point. It is good not to be stained with rain or soot. I would like to visit a city with many chimneys like that of Mary Poppins. Does anyone know?

There was a cat sheltering from the rain. Only a cat makes me feel comfortable since there was no one....

There were many shops and it got dark while strolling around. I felt an illusion that I was walking along the same street in a circle, but I was really doing so.

Around my gallery

The other day the SIM disappeared where my gallery is. It is common to do so temporarily when there is maintenance, but it was gone for almost one full day. But when it disappeared, I was impressed by the beautiful scenery where I was living.

The SIM returned. It is full of life but somewhat messy. My building is also spoiling the sight. The neighbors are changing often and I do not have relations with them. When looking at beautiful and well-coordinated communities, I feel like living in such place, but it could be difficult in the main land.

Neighbors across the bay are futuristic malls. It might be one of good points of the mainland that anything could be there, so my gallery with piled up cubes could be acceptable.

To be Free

I did not update my gallery for more than two months, so I picked up some good ones from the old pictures. When they were presented last time I made the pictures small and the quality was not good. Also one of my friends pointed out that there were too much jaggy. I used the original size this time and it may be slow to read them. Please take time at leisure.

The main exhibition is on the third floor.

The exhibition on the second floor is still “Pandora now and then”. This building is the same as I made at the first time. Whenever looking at other nice galleries I would think making a new one, but I do not have enough capability…
