Farewell Rei

I searched futuristic cities and visited scores of them, but there are few future cities. This was one of the towns found while searching with a word Star Wars. I did not keep the landmark.

This is rather a world of fantasy than future. Come to think of it, the stage of Star Wars was an ancient world.

Was there any creature like this in the movie? They said that the strange aliens at the bar in the movie were from other movies due to limited budget.

Some town that I run into. There was a kind of bioengineering laboratories.

The creatures in the cylinders are not figure but avatars with name tug. They have all the same shape, so this might not be a camp.

Rei, gone in the chemical liquid. As I wrote before, I will wear a clothing only once a year, so I will lay her as is until next year. She might be dead meanwhile, but she could be reset since she is a clone. She really died several times in the drama.

Some good bye shots. Rei seemed to be ready to die all the time. These photos could be her final stage taking a farewell look around her. Even for a clone, a death means to return to the default situation, so the whole memory will go away. Good night Rei…

This was my favorite space suit that I bought at INSILICO. This was taken together with Han Solo at the planet Hoth of Star Wars. I used this suit when taking pictures in a futuristic situation, but it was gone form my inventory. I was surprised to become nude when switching to this outfit. Instead, I may use the clothing for Rei, which will not be seen in the neighborhood, but possibly could appear in my blog.

Rei in Cosplay

The avatar that I used last time was fully made up to the face, so was not possible to adjust it. It was possible to switch the head to other mesh one but it did not connect well. So, I purchased the clothing for a cosplay. This head is a free GENUS, the Strong Face. It uses the same numbers for the shape editing but surprisingly the skin and hair made it gentler than my normal face.

The body was fully edited. Normally my torso is longer and the leg fatter, but if I use them, it became too realistic and a bit embarrassing, so I made it close to the original Rei figure. But comparatively speaking as a second life avatar, the leg is not so long.

I visited INSILICO for more pictures. I tried hard to adjust the bust shape. I had meant to make it smaller and firmer, but it did not fit the texture of the cloth.

I searched other futuristic cities. This is The Region with cyber and fantasy theme. I found the City of Midgal, the stage for Final Fantasy, but I did not enter since the RPG regulations looked stringent.

This is like a lobby of an airport. I had no chance to go abroad last year. I missed the idle time at the airport.

A corner with appealing foods on the table. The waiting time at airport is a wasting time, but it is a kind of joy without reason. Maybe because I should not do anything?

This face became my favorite, so I took many pictures. Sad to say that few noticed my face. There is no relation to Rei. Sorry for the Rei enthusiasts.

I visited so many places that I do not remember where this is. Could be a corner of a waiting area? There was a very cool corner like a botanical garden in the waiting area of RL Singapore airport.

Rei in Space

Went to Spaceflight Museum for photo shooting. This SIM has also changed with the time but the many rockets are still there.

This is the scene that I was impressed when I visited at the early year of my SL life. It is a bit scary to think that most of these rockets were made as weapons.

Toyota Lunar Cruiser for the moon, a fuel battery vehicle developed together with JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency)

In the sky, there is the International Space Station, that can be reached with a rocket or space shuttle through launch and docking.

It is possible to visit planets and outer space with a space rocket. Unfortunately, the image is not so good as the old presentation. I wish to see the cockpit of the shuttle or space ship more detailed with higher resolution.

I would like to see the shuttle like this, that is approaching the ISS. There are many variations of the shuttle cockpit, but this is the most similar one as I watched before in SL.

Rei at INSILICO

Bought a cute character of Rei Ayanami of Evangelion (Japanese animation) although I have not seen the movie. But everyone noticed the character as might be expected, since she is the most popular character in the series. As my policy, I will not wear a clothing only once a year, but it does not pay off, so I went out for taking pictures with it. Naturally it will be the futuristic city INSILICO. This is the welcome center from which every spot can be reached directly.

My favorite spot, AGIS Medical Center. The coloring and style of the character do fit the situation.

Since the original figure is an animation character that is different from human shape, so I tried to make it humanize, but it did not work well since the adjustment range was restricted. But she looks more human comparing with the android at AGIS.

The android body looks more human but is different because of the skin. There are other working robots which have more functional shape like mobile suits.

There is no sense of discomfort while walking around. But some SIMs do not allow child, furry, or animation character. It is natural for nudist beach, but why not for futuristic world?

I made the shape as human as possible, so don’t you think the hip looks cute? This is the limit of the adjustment. If I take this off, my body becomes unimaginable shape. Sorry but the figure standing in front is not SL avatar.

Gallery Flashback

The Gallery Flashback by OiMax has been renewed. It was once for another person’s pictures but now the originals came back. This time it will be until late April. There are three categories, model shot, landscape, and kimono. The old ones are exhibited in the second floor.

The kimono with parasol series was taken for a famous magazine, SL-Unplugged, according to a request by the model, who seems to be a professional once appeared in a center fold of another magazine.

This is one of my favorites. The nice pose, layout of clothing, and shadow are so good that I cannot do myself. In some photo lesson, they said that three most important issues are object, lighting, and trimming. But I think the key is the object and how to shoot it.

The pictures were taken in the winter and there are some with snow. I love this too. The layout of the kimono and parasol is cool! Unfortunately, there are some overwraps in the figures but it could be OiMax’s policy not to retouch after shooting. I have a bad habit to modify pictures, so it was hard to attend photo contests that allow neither retouch, trimming, nor even saving.

There are some pictures of models. OiMax is very good to handle small properties such as the beer server or lamps in the previous works. Also, the background was considered meticulously as a professional cameraman.

The models are also beautiful. I love the facial expression of the small head, cool hair, and the rich belly. It is hard to get this kind of avatar.

There is a Café on the ground. Now the cherry in full bloom and the ground covered by petals of it are awesome. I retouched several parts of this picture. It was impossible to cover the cherry branch penetrating the roof though. The magazine is set behind the counter. The gallery can be reached directly or TP from here.
