The last cherry

Brought out many cherry trees at the vacant lot of Kazumi’s church. Took them away as soon as I shot pictures. It was impossible to put so many trees, so the ones at distance are composite.

This picture is not a composite but a real one now at Temi’s Teahouse. At Baba SIM, cherry trees have been in full bloom throughout the year. I was derendering them normally but put the same type of trees this time.

Under the cheery trees, still there is a photo exhibition “Amigos of Baba” until March 31st.

Deleted the camping car. Also the pictures and buildings around were erased with derender and viewing distance. It became strange scenery like a shelter wood with cherry trees, being a far cry from the wonderful pictures in the Yana’s blog…

Faries at Baba

The theme of Baba dance party last week was ‘insect and fairy’. There were many wings but few real fairy.

I became a butterfly following the theme insect, but there was only one else, chalcosia remota by Renji. I changed clothing soon since I cannot dance with the avatar.

Fairies with variation that cannot be seen at dance shows. The small green one is Hisanori, the red is Botan, the blue is Hideyoshi who used to be a small cat monster. The right end is me.

There were many come and go, so it was hard to shoot them together, but tried to make a line.

Xpyoda came in later. Cute but is this a fairy?

Night goes on and Kazumi grew mammoth again. Before she float up it was like a family tree at Pandora. What will be the theme today 29th? Please not to be ‘giants’.

Australia

Found the Ayers Rock in SL, Australia SIM. But this one is provided only for the background and it was not possible to climb on. Flew with the Insect Flappter. This picture is not a composite.

Now Ayers Rock is called Uluru, and Mount Olga is Kata Tjuta using the original names. This is Kata Tjuta viewed with Google Earth.

This is also Google Earth. I did not notice when I was there, but this is not a single mountain but a group of rocks wide spread. The rock like Ohmu that was introduced last time is the third right in the big ones. There is also the parking lot on the left below where the bus stopped when I was there.

Along the way, visited Sydney that is in the same SIM. The opera house seen from the top of a tower. Regret that it was not made in detail.

The opera house in Google Earth. Google Earth is not only using aerial photos but also using three dimensional models in some area. It is possible to move the camera fly around or come close. It is a kind of virtual world like SL.

Mowe kite

A guide explained that this is the place where Hayao Miyazaki got a hint for the Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. These scineries in the below photos are from RL.

Ayers Rock in real Australia where I climbed to the top. I dreamed of flying out from here with Move kite. It could be possible with a hang glider, but it might be prohibited.

There is another mountain next to Ayers Rock, Mount Olga, a group of huge rocks and there is The Valley of the Wind. This is a huge rock that is said to be a model for Ohmu. Please image the size comparing with tourists on the right. This is not the Valley of the Wind which is on the far left I reached at the end of the rifht valley. This one more looks like the valley of the wind. The corvettes of Torumekia could fly into the valley at any time.

Mount Olga from Ayers Rock. That is more than 50Km apart. The Valley of the Wind is situated on the left. Mount Olga is larger than Ayers Rock and there are many places to see, but less popular than the rock, because it is not a monolith?

Invisible avatar2

Mizuki also got the avatar, so we danced together on the battleship Yamato. If we were not with the wings, we could be ghost from the war.

The outline shapes are set, the bodies shown here are not our nudes. Mizuki and I have almost same size. I cannot tell which was which. This free avatar is available here.

We went to a flower field looking for colors. I do not know the reason but it was hard to read colors of flowers on the ground. Our body went slightly cherry pink. I learned that the bug that causes discrepancy of position or color is called ‘alpha clash’.

The artist Fuschia explained that the avatar picks up colors of pixels under foot, but this time the color seems to be that of the mountain far away. Or could the land texture of the mountain be extended to our feet? Anyway this is very enjoyable avatar. In the last week of the presentation, it is intended to populate the SIM with people wearing the avatar to dance. It should be wonderful if they are synchronized.
