From Japan to SL

The meeting last week at Trenza Yacht Club was a long cruise.




From the west shore of Satori continent, through the inland sea of Nautilus. It took about one hour on the south wind of 10 knots. Passing by the Ahub’s Haunt made of huge whale bones and giant Titanic, then sailed out into the east shore of Nautilus. Almost dropped on the way but two out of three of us managed to complete the course. It is too bad that there are some closed private SIMs on the shore line making it impossible to go around the continent. Linden, please do something.




A world map of SL that I reported last year. There will be some changes since then but put it again here since that was received well. Scattered spots are independent SIMs. There is no SIM in the blue area like the ocean, so it is impossible to enter except limited area around continents.

Carnival at Venice started on February 22nd.

The above is the magic world set in the Palazzo Ducale, the stage for 26th. It has an image of Alice’s wonderland, I wore the costume. The delicious-looing dress is Yana, one of the organizers.




There is a wagon sale at Piazza San Marco. There are many nice free gifts. I also attended. The LM is on Ponte di Rialto. As same as the RL, walk down the bridge and pass through nallow alleys to get Piazza San Marco

My T-shirts were made for my own use, all for free. Some of them have pattern on the back. I will be glad if there were single one that you could use. They are all modifiable. Please enjoy changing sleeve length or color.

  

The theme of Baba dance party last week was ‘black’.




Black suits are shown off on the floor with various color patterns. Every one brought in somewhat black outfit respectively.




But the cloth blended in with the floor with black color. The cool guy on the right is Tomoyan.




My outfit was completely black but normal black clothing reveals it original shape with light. The person who was brought out his habitual cloth under fireworks was Xpyoda.




I made everything inky black including hair and eyeballs. The left is ‘red’ that will be the theme tomorrow 22nd. The right is with color of gray bug. It is interesting to see someone who thought this could be read error and was going to re-log. It is possible to put any desirable color or texture if you use editable cloth or skin. Please join the party at Baba on Saturday with red and dance theme but not redundance.

The figures in this picture are all reading lag except me. Normally the reading finishes within a short time, so it is hard to take SSs and there was no time for selecting camera angle. In many cases only a part of avatar remains gray.

  

It seems that there are bugs of transparent body after mesh dress became popular. Beforetime it was a nude bug^-^. The below might be a dress reading lag of my PC. It was normal for herself and other persons around. The lady with beautiful head is Alha who was a winner of a beauty contest.




This is a bug that happened at the Yakitori Shop Kikyou five years ago. It was unique at that time when there was no alpha shirts. There was a rental boat shop at Kikyou and it was possible to sail to other SIM from here.




The lady was Tabycat, a dancer of Kinoichi, a group of beautiful ladies. The cloth pattern can be noticed on the transparent dress. I have never seen this bug until mesh dress came in.

  

The theme of Baba dance party last time was related to the Olympic opening, “Omotenashi”. In Japanese, that means ‘hospitality’ but also sounds like ‘no front face’. I was dancing with this style but sad to say nobody noticed it for a while.




Back of my head is formed flat in order not to interfere hair, so I covered it with a mask and sunglasses. There is another way to put additional head. Please do not say that there is not so much difference since breasts are small.




The party theme will be announced on the day, so there are all sorts of costumes. Everyone guessed that Xpyoda will come with ‘Kaonashi’, a character in the movie, Spirited Away. There were formal suits, cash monster, or other meaningless strange characters. There will be another theme today at Baba. Please feel free to drop in with any style.
