Masquerade

Masquerade is nice. I love the music by Khachaturian too. I attended in SL several times. This is an old dance club Pleiades where I visited often. The transparent dress is a kind of bug.

Self-portrait with mask for profile of my blog. There are not so much variations with color change only. This kind of masks may require a magnificent nose^-^ The well-fitting accessories are Mandara.

Masks in RL. I dreamt of them but they need beautiful nose and mouth. There are some that covers whole face, but it could be embarrassing if I picked up a cute one and my nose did not fit in… A Joy of masquerade may be to be able to have other figure and facial expression away from daily ones. It could be also fun to wonder who the person is. In SL, it could have been interesting if the organizer announced to recommend to erase name tags above avatars.

In this sense the whole SL has been a masquerade for me. I enjoyed dancing everyday with different clothing and figure that cannot be done in RL. I have about 1000 sets that were arranged as outfits.

There were dance parties at Baba every Saturday. Kazumi the manager set the theme every time, such as Halloween, Christmas, cherry blossoms, samba, fairy, evil, white, red, black, or cat, Miku-miku etc. There were also theme from uniforms, animation charactors or idle group, some of them I was not able to follow. The below is Alice’s tea party. It was joy to go shopping or to select clothing from the inventory according to the theme.

Memories of flower field

This is when I started SL, at a garden of the landlord Typer Jun. When I started SL, I wanted to do something that I cannot do in RL. To lie on a tulip garden might be one of them.

A garden in front of my old home, Temi’s Teahouse. I had meant to plant more but there was a limit of Prims….

Also my previous home at Baba. I put sunflower as much as possible.

This is at the same home too. Personally I love rape blossoms, Eastern daisy, cosmos, and poppy, those there is plenty of them.

At the planet Pandora, unknown flowers. It seems not made for Pandora exclusively. Too bad that the Planet Pandora with four SIMs had gone.

Cosmos and poppy fields where I visited before. It was free to take out so I got armload of flowers but they faded before I got home…

Farewell, Totoro’s Forest

The Totoro’s Forest, that has kept the nostalgic atmosphere since the era of Yakitori shop Kikyou, will be closed as of May 8. The beginning was the Cat-bus near the Kikyou. Bigtotoro Xue has kept the SIM landscape of each season presenting the heartwarming environment. Thank you Bigtotoro for a long period. I had put several articles about this SIM.

Next to the wisteria trellis, there is an elementary school and a field of rape blossoms. Totoro’s Forest could be said as an illusionary landscape of the heart. At my childhood, a field of canola flower is a vast world. My younger brother and I were racing to catch hoverfly. There were honey bees alike hover fly. When we make a mistake, a honey bee stings. But a single shot was enough and we became fully possible to distinguish both of them with a pattern on the body or an angle of the wings, anyway at the first experience.

This is when I started SL, a yard of my friend. It was not so big but the white cosmos higher than me was impressive. This could be my landscape of the heart at SL, so my pictures of flower field are all alike.

A vast flower field at a Middle East SIM. These are not rolled papers at the early era but three dimensional particles. SL has made substantial progress but I have not changed at all…
