Snow at Totoro's Forest
This time there is no Edo Kanda Shrine, so I searched one for year’s first visit to the shrine and visited Totoro's forest. There is beautiful snow road.
Totoro's Forest:http://slurl.com/secondlife/LittleWitchForest/112/17/22

The slope looked nice for skiing, but unfortunately my ski is rez type and was not used. At the old Edo Kanda SIM, there was snow covering the SIM and I was able to ski on a hill next to my house.

This SIM was made simulating the world of the movie “My Neighbor Totoro”, and there is a house of Satsuki and May. The house is not so fancy but has a good atmosphere that reminds me of housing at the old Edo SIM.

This is at the old Kikyo Yakitori Shop. There were many totoros came for dancing. I still have one.

End of Bots
Full SIM Art by Haveit Neox will come to an end on December 31. On the desks of the library, many proposals from the guests are presented, from practical suggestion to beautiful poems. My one is kindly held by three black bots next to the teacher. Did it get a passing score?
Past Articles: http://temisirbu.slmame.com/e1182297.html (PArt 1)
http://temisirbu.slmame.com/e1183088.html (Part 2)

Japanese translation was requested and presented together with English one. I might be the only applicant from Japan. Haveit can read Japanese.

My one was something impossible. Although there were many ideas but none was in time, and this world will collapse on December 21. It could be a kind of spectacle to see such huge structures collapsing and you must not miss it. The avalanche will be 14;00 SLT on Dec.31, it is 7:00 AM on January 1 in Japan. It might be of bad omen to see such disruption on New Year’s day, but please consider it as a start of another new world. The full SIM Art series will have another one in January.

Open mouth
At the UWA 3D Art Challenge Grand Finale. He is a famous artist, but was opening his mouth for some reason. I asked why, and he answered, "ha ha... I'm not. It's SL. When a lot of avatars are in one location, sometimes it makes the mouth open. Perhaps some kind of humorous version of lag." Please check other avatar’s face when there are many. But Mr. Linden, please do something for heaviness before doing such trick.

Another gentleman kept dancing in front of the stage. I am afraid that this was a dancing bug. No one noticed him, but by any chance I might be the only person who saw it. Please see the previous report in the above article about the bug.
Dancing Bug:http://temisirbu.slmame.com/e556245.html

This is reading delay. The illumination panels become gray and stay for a while every time the lighting is switched. It was fixed next day so it could be temporal one, but it was a trouble.

Recently there are many runaway bugs. Formerly it happened only when crossing SIM border, but now it comes even while sailing open sea, causing fly away or sink down. If it comes when stepping up stairways, I will keep climbing far into the cloud. It is beyond a joke for yacht races. Please work out Linden!

Suddenly a strange column appeared at the pier in front of my gallery. This is not a bug but a yacht made with mesh that can be seen normal with V2 or Firestorm. As I reported before, V2 is heavier than Phoenix and lack some functions that are important for me, so I erased the yacht for a while. But surprisingly it became visible. Now the new version of Phoenix can handle the mesh.

Grand Finale
The UWA 3D Art Challenge had the final round. Visited the Grand Finale. The site that has capacity of more than 200 could be said as a kind of art by itself.

Walked around before the opening. Flags of all nations that depict the attendants from all over the world. It is one of merits of SL to be able to walk on the rail.

The site was set at the four corners of SIMs, one for stage, three for audience seats. The SIM boundary is set in front of the stage. The left above is the famous point of interest, “Four Corners Monument where Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico gather at one point. It becomes rule to set hands and foot on each state for memorial photo.

Although the audience seats are separated into three SIMs, it was heavy! The far left SIM was especially slow, and many of them dropped. I was also logged out and moved to this side. Someone said, “Now all come to this SIM and we will crash argh!” But it was somewhat OK through the ceremony. Please see the URL for the contents of the event.

Full SIM Art
The third round of the full-SIM art series are, "Second Libations" by Haveit Neox and Luna Metamorphia's "Endangered Species Zoo of Metamorphia". This time visited the Second Lib by Neox. The stage is the lifeless planet Earth where the great cosmic storm swept up the last water molecules. The entrance is a pyramid amidst of a desert.

Through the entrance. There are sign boards explaining this world. Also there are some free vendors for temple clothing. The Navi avatar is mine though.

Went out of the structure. Actual passage is twisty alley that should be simply followed. There are some sudden drops but keep moving.

This is a full view of the world. The apex of the entrance pyramid is 260m high. The first descending passage is set in the body of a giant statue. There is The Temple of the Bots seen in the right, and the glowing tower at the center is Scripters' Web Tower. The sky behind is not the Linden sky but panels exclusively made for this art.

The giant’s charge is to deliver you to the Temple of the Bots. The figure standing on the right thumb of giant is me. The other small figures are bots who are trying to rehydrate the world by virtual water. These bots could be the main theme of this art and appear at many places in this art. It might be a great job to build such a huge structure that is not repetitive construction.

Foreyard of the temple. Strange scenery that could be either forest or sea.

The same place as the above. There are many different expressions according to the lighting and viewing angle.

I ran into Mr. Jayjay Zifanwe, the owner of UWA SIM, who has been making a great labor at SL. The UWA 3D Art Challenge ended at the grand finale on December 11, but I wish another event would come back soon.

In the temple, there are three doors to; Banquet of the Artists, Librarynth, and Scripters' Web Tower. There may be no rule in visiting order. This is the first one. I dressed up for the banquet but it was rather a party of monsters than artists. Both of them might be close enough?

The second one is Librarynth. Labyrinth and maze are both translated to Meiro in Japanese, but labyrinth is normally not branched as many as maze that is difficult to find the way. This one is the former and you can go straight to get the goal. But if you can come back at the first time, you should be well experienced in role playing games.

Water after all, so bots flooded library too. This could be inspired by The Sorcerer's Apprentice by Dukas.

There is a kind of teacher at the center. Bots are studying hard to find out a way to survive without human >maintenance. Click the cube floating on the book and get instructions to submit your idea, that will be presented in this program.
There are advices from guests on the ancient banderoles. It is interesting to see in different languages, which I cannot read though.

I also submitted one, and it is honored to be displayed. The one on the scroll picture is Japanese version, and the cube above is English.

The last is Scripters' Web Tower. Reflection that is Neox's favorite is also used here. I tried to create a serious reflection.

Bots are working around a well in the sea continuing to scoop up water in the water. It reminds me of a scene in the movie Fantasia by Disney.

Huge stairway in the sea. This art does not have a sequential story like the Divine Comedy, but it has a fun to be able to walk around feely to fiend new discoveries. If you can enjoy RPG and tend to walk in every hole and corner when you enter a new town, you can surely enjoy this art. Thank you Haveit!
