Parallel World
Looking at the SL world map, I found strange continents. A, B, and C are made of several hundred SIMs but everyone has the same shape as others. The lower half of the picture below shows the southwest corner of the continent. Each SIM has independent name respectively.
They are situated at this area. Why did Linden make three same continents? Do the residents know that there are other worlds with the same shape?
The commonality is not only the shape of the continent. The buildings are the same. From this picture, you cannot tell the continent. They are absolute residential area with no shop or advertisement. It is so SL that there is no driveway.
The southwest corner is for Japanese-style housing. There are cherry blossom and autumn leaves together. This structure is also common to all three continents.
The names of SIMs in the Japanese area are Japanese style, such as Kiyoraka (purity), Yasuragi (peace), Ikemen (cool guy) or Kazuhisa (personal name). They are interesting and I tried to translate some of them. There are difficult words that I did not know, such as Shobin, Nojiko, or Atori, which are all birds. Hirundo (swallow), Drongo (small crow-like bird) and Ahi (yellowfin tuna) are not Japanese.
