From Japan to SL

It is possible to use classic skin on Bento heads using BOM (Bakes On Mesh). The left is GENUS head with old free skin. The right is the same skin on my classic shape. This is literally classic skin that I seldom use. It is difficult to put old eyes on the mesh. The biggest difference of the mesh shape is the expression on nostrils. With old skins, there will be strange shade on the side of nostril that needs some adjustment. Even with the mesh head, it may be hard to get cool triangle nose like the Northern Europeans.




In the case of GENUS, wear Universal HUD, touch BAKES ON MESH to ON, detach Head Alpha, and wear an old skin. If the eyebrow was left, put the TATOO layer OFF since GENUS uses Tattoo layer to edit eyebrow.




Another old skin with a bit strong eye. If the shape was left as that for Bento when wearing an old skin, it may end up with a strange face, so it should be readjusted. Since the same shape adjust numbers for old skins will not work, it will be a complete editing for the mesh head to match the old skin. Please be careful not to save the result on the shape since there is Link on the editing shape, if so, the change will affect all other outfit using the shape. Before starting the work, it is recommended to go back to the original folder and copy all necessary items for a new folder. At that time, do not make “Paste as Link”.




The skin of my sister who I executed before. This kind of soft cute nose can be made even with the classic avatar. I do not like the eyes of this head. It is impossible to get such an impish cute eye as the right, so I wore sunglasses to cover them. It might be natural since the name of this shape is “Strong Face”. Also, it is hard to get nice closed eyes with this head. The right below is only nictitating but cool sleeping face can be made with a small retouch.
